Lifelong Health & Wellbeing

Lifelong Health and Wellbeing (LLHW) is a cross-council initiative established to meet the challenges and opportunities of an ageing population. The LLHW programme supports research addressing factors throughout life that influence health and wellbeing in older age.

Research & activities

A report of the 2014 LLHW Exploratory Workshop on Transformational Approaches to Improving Hearing Aid Technology is now available to download. (PDF, 148KB)

Following the workshop, the MRC and EPSRC will be offering a package of coordinated funding for networks and research projects. See MRC and EPSRC funding opportunities for further details.

Since 2008 LLHW has invested £49m in centres, projects and collaborative networks.
