The UK Prevention Research Partnership (UKPRP) is an exciting £50m initiative focussed on improving population health, and reducing health inequalities, through the primary prevention of NCDs. It covers physical health as well as mental health and wellbeing in the UK. This funding call seeks to build and support interdisciplinary research consortia and networks that will focus on the upstream-determinants of health; on developing large-scale solutions relevant to policy and practice; and on enabling change within complex adaptive systems.
MRC Mental Health Data Pathfinder awards are two-year pump-priming awards aimed at UK universities already engaged in mental health-related research. These are flexible institutional awards with a single application stage, to be used to create a foundation for the development of a UK Mental Health Research Platform, with further funding expected in the future. This is a £10m call under the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF).

Research Councils UK (RCUK), the strategic partnership of the UK's seven Research Councils and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) are pleased to announce they will shortly be launching the UK-China Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Centre Partnerships Initiative under the umbrella of the Newton Fund.
The aim of the call is to encourage the creation of multi-disciplinary networks that cross the remit boundaries of the research councils.
