Study casts further doubt vitamin D prevents type 2 diabetes

The study, funded by the Medical Research Council and conducted by scientists at the University of Cambridge, challenges evidence from earlier observational studies which suggest that higher concentrations of circulating vitamin D might prevent type 2 diabetes.
