The Medical Research Council takes an active role in developing policy for UK and international science. Some of our current policy development topics are listed here.
- New Therapies Scrutiny Group for Prion Disease
- Advises on ways of accelerating progress towards clinical trials of new therapeutic or preventive treatments for prion disease, and maintains an overview of other relevant research.
