Medical Research Foundation: Donate to support research

The Medical Research Foundation is the MRC's independently managed charity and is the vehicle through which the giving public can support the research of the MRC. The MRC receives significant funding from central government, however a private donation to its charity ensures more high quality researchers can be supported to push back the boundaries of medical knowledge even further.

The aims of the Medical Research Foundation are the same of those of the MRC - to promote medical research anywhere in the world and in particular, to support research training, public engagement with research and the dissemination of research results for the improvement of human health. Donations to the Medical Research Foundation are used to complement and extend the important medical research that is supported by the MRC.  The Medical Research Foundation always supports additional research to that funded by the MRC and charitable donations are never used to replace central government funding.

Although MRC scientists have made great advances, there is still more to do. You can contribute to the world class science that the MRC does. You can make a difference to human health.
