Medical Research Foundation: How we are governed and managed
The Medical Research Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees whose responsibilities include setting the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring good governance and taking decisions on individual applications for funding. The Board meets at least four times each year. A business manager assists the Board and has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Medical Research Foundation and implementation of its policies. The business manager is assisted by an office manager.
