Edinburgh Brain Banks- Sudden Death brain bank, HIV brain bank, CJD brain bank

Summary

To collect and make available to researchers control and “hard to get” neurological disorders, through the Procurator Fiscals service.

To provide tissue to researchers from HIV and CJD cases, the CJD cases being part of the National CJD Surveillance Unit.
