MRC Technology launches call for drug discovery targets

MRC Technology’s Centre for Therapeutics Discovery (CTD) has launched a worldwide call to researchers for new drug and therapeutic antibody targets.
The aim of the CTD is to translate academic research into lead molecules or therapeutic antibodies develop new drugs and antibody-based therapies. Researchers are being invited to submit their research for consideration in the CTD’s small molecule drug discovery and external therapeutic antibody development programmes.
In return, those who collaborate with the CTD could benefit from access to potential funding as well as access to the centre’s drug discovery resources and expertise such as tool compounds and reagents, in silico screening and compound design, and medicinal chemistry.
