Call for Proposals: Intervention Evaluation Study Platforms
The MRC is committed to supporting high quality, innovative research that is likely to make a real difference to clinical practice and the health of the population.
The MRC Health Services and Public Health Research Board (HSPHRB) has long recognised the importance, yet inherent complexity, of undertaking large-scale, definitive, evaluations of novel interventions, including randomised controlled trials. Very often there is a need for preliminary feasibility or pilot work to fully inform the development of a definitive study which would be attractive to potential funders.
HSPHRB therefore announce a call for proposals for intervention evaluation study platforms. The call aims to support purpose-driven, preparatory work that will underpin future definitive randomised trials, particularly those of complex, community based or public health interventions.
