FLARE (Future Leaders of Ageing Research in Europe) fellowship programme
Joint European Post-Doctoral Programme
The idea of the FLARE programme is to promote future ageing research by supporting an interdisciplinary exchange for post-doctoral researchers in Europe.
It is being jointly organised and financed by the participating organisations of several European countries who are members of the European Research Area in Ageing (ERA-AGE) Network funded under the ERA-NET scheme of the European Commission between 2004 and 2008 (see http://era-age.group.shef.ac.uk/).
The programme offers funding for a 3-year postdoctoral research post in ageing research. Applicants have to be postdoctoral researchers in an ageing related research field for not more than 6 years (i.e. PhD not before April 2001).
The call deadline is 30 April 2007.
