The MRC funds postgraduate research training through studentships. We do not provide funding to students directly, prospective students should contact the institution at which they wish to study. An archive

Advanced Course Masters Studentships Competition 2012
The MRC Advanced Masters Competition is open for applications from 3 November 2011 to 20 December 2011. The competition is open to Higher Education Institutions that currently hold a MRC Doctoral Training Account.
Disabled Students' Allowance
If you incur additional expenditure in connection with your postgraduate training because you are disabled, you may be eligible for a Disabled Students Allowance.
Doctoral Training Grant competition
For research organisations who have historically received intermediate levels of DTG funds the opportunity to apply for a more substantial DTG allocation.
In Vivo Science Strategic Skills Awards
Opportunity for Research Organisations in receipt of MRC and BBSRC Doctoral Training Grants to receive supplementary funding to cover the costs of advanced integrative mammalian research skills.
Industrial CASE studentships
To create partnerships between research organisations and industry, providing students with excellent training and experience.
