Outputs and outcomes
Evaluation is a critical component of our work, helping ensure the science we fund is of the highest quality. We also measure the benefits our research brings to people's health and society – whether through inventing new medicines, changing clinical practice, influencing policy, creating wealth or improving our basic understanding of the human body. MRC e-Val
is our main evaluation tool – an online survey that all MRC-funded researchers complete so we can assess the full impact of our recently-funded science.
