Development of asthma linked to specific gene
A gene, known as ADAM33*, is found to be one of the causes of the development of asthma. The researchers hope the work could lead to entirely new ways of diagnosing and treating asthma and deliver benefits for the huge numbers of people who suffer from this condition, one of the most prevalent chronic illnesses in children today.
