Transparency
In line with Government’s commitment to greater transparency of public information, the MRC publishes information on how we spend the public funding we receive. This page includes information on senior staff pay, management and staffing structures, spending over £25,000 and transactions on Government Procurement Cards over £500.
Data are presented for the MRC’s research units and institutes, head office, regional administrative centres and research facilities. The data published here is also accessible on www.data.gov.uk.

Spending Transactions over £25,000
The following data are presented in a response to the request from HM Treasury and following the requirements set out in the “Transparency of Spend, Publication over £25,000” Reporting Guidance published on 30 July 2010.

Spending – Government Procurement Card expenditure over £500
Central Government Departments and Arms Length Bodies are required to publish Government Procurement Card (GPC) expenditure for transactions of £500 and over on their Departmental and Cabinet Office websites.
